SUV comparison: features and specifications

Here are some of the main features and specifications of each base model: the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder S trim level and the 2024 Toyota Highlander LE trim level, both with front-wheel drive. As you can see, they are neck-in-neck with each other in every category. One has more horsepower; the other has more torque. One has more front legroom; the other has more rear legroom.  

Pathfinder S vs. Highlander LE safety features

Both models are well-equipped with safety features, including driver-assist features. They both have automatic high-beam headlights, a tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control, and more. The Nissan Pathfinder S has two additional notable features that are unavailable on the Highlander LE. The first is Tire Fill Assistant, which uses the horn and/or lights of the vehicle to let you know when the correct tire pressure has been reached when you fill the tires, helping prevent over-filled tires. 

The second additional safety on the Pathfinder S is rear parking sensors, which beep when you reverse too close to an object. With rear parking sensors, you can more confidently navigate tight parking spots and busy parking lots.
